We maintain a 1:8 caregiver-to-resident ratio during the day and 24/7 awake care partners at night. With a maximum of 16 residents on our campus at any time, our care partners do not rotate between dozens of rooms. They know each resident’s preferences, habits, and health history personally. When something changes, they notice it early because they know what “normal” looks like for that individual.

Training That Goes Beyond Certification

Every care partner at Ambria completes hands-on training in person-centered care techniques before working independently with residents. For our memory care team, that training includes specialized education in dementia communication, redirection strategies, and managing sundowning behaviors. We invest in ongoing education because quality care requires more than good intentions. It requires skill, patience, and a deep understanding of how aging and cognitive change affect each person differently.

Personalized Care Plans, Not Templates

Before any resident moves in, we work closely with their family and physicians to build a care plan tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and daily routines.
